Taylor Swift has been on the road with her “The Eras Tour” for around a year. Now the concert film with additional songs is coming to Disney+.

Popstar has been touring since March 2023 Taylor Swift (34) has already completed her “Eras Tour” through the world – North and South America, Oceania and Asia, and more than 50 more concerts in Europe will follow in the summer of 2024. It wasn’t just the tour that became one of the most successful world tours ever: in October 2023, a concert film, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour”, was released in around 8,500 cinemas in over 100 countries worldwide – the film became the most commercially successful concert film in film history.

Now fans can follow Swift’s concert tour through her discography of the past 17 years in their own four walls: “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)” can be seen from today on the Disney+ streaming service. The concert film shows around three and a half hours of Taylor Swift. It is not yet known which four acoustic songs can be heard in addition to “Cardigan”.

Big box office success with “Eras Tour” concert film

Filming for the feature film took place between August 3rd and 5th, 2023 at three of the six shows at SoFi Stadium and Inglewood, California. Directed by Sam Wrench. “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” opened in German cinemas on October 13th. With worldwide revenue of over $260 million, it is considered the highest-grossing film of its kind. For Swift’s 34th birthday on December 13, 2023, the film was already released in an expanded version – but only with three additional songs – on various streaming platforms.

In July 2024, “The Eras Tour” will also take the pop singer to Germany. From July 17th to 19th, Taylor Swift will give three concerts in Gelsenkirchen, on July 23rd and 24th she will perform in Hamburg, and on July 27th and 28th in Munich. Tickets for the concerts were sold out within half an hour.
