Soon the end of the mask? Not quite. At least not for everyone at the same time. According to Emmanuel Macron, the end of wearing the mask outdoors “will be done in a differentiated way on the territory”, he mentioned, this Monday, traveling to Saint-Cirq-Lapopie (Lot).

“The perspective in which we all live is that we can gradually remove it, and that we can remove it in open places where there is not too much risk. (…) This will also be done in a differentiated way in the territory. (…) At the national level, we will have to wait a little longer. I think that until the end of June, we will keep more or less the same organization at the national level, ”he said during a press briefing.

In mid-May, the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, declared that the end of the mask outdoors “will come soon”.
