Perhaps you are overflowing with blackened notebooks, without knowing what to do with them… In Montpellier (Hérault), EcoNotebk has created amazing little customizable notebooks, which could allow you to empty your drawers. The notepads and notebooks made by the young company are indeed… infinitely reusable. Or almost. “Up to 1,000 times,” promises the Montpellier start-up.
On the pages of these notebooks, you can erase the notes or drawings at will, by passing a damp cloth. And start writing or drawing again, on a brand new sheet. And, magic, by passing the finger, on the other hand, no risk of making the writings disappear. “With my partner, Luc Marani, we wanted to start with something that makes sense, says Stephen Le Guen, the founder of EcoNotebk. We realized that the use of paper was a disaster, much more than we think we know. »
A synthetic resin
Very quickly, the idea of designing fully erasable notebooks germinated in the minds of these two entrepreneurs. Practical and ecological. It took them several months to find materials capable of realizing their dream. The paper for these little notebooks is thus made from “a synthetic and recyclable resin, notes Stephen Le Guen. It’s water resistant, and it’s hard to wrinkle and very hard to tear.”
As for the ink of the pens provided by EcoNotebk, it is the same technology as that of the erasable pens, sold on the market. “We made up to 1,000 uses without the leaves moving,” says the company’s founder. These notebooks can be used for 10, 15, 20, 30 years… or even more. For those who would however like to save their notes, the company recommends using the CamScanner application, which allows you to scan documents by taking a photo.
The Montpellier start-up also manufactures a diary, also fully erasable: all you need is a little elbow grease to fill in the dates of the weeks by hand each year, at the top of each double page. “Customer feedback is very positive,” says the entrepreneur. Our only job today is to make ourselves known. »
