The district of Dachau is running out of places for refugees: A comment – Dachau

It was clear that sooner or later things would get tight in the refugee accommodation in the district of Dachau. It became clear in autumn at the latest that the capacities were coming to an end, when the government announced the first of many allocations to all district administration authorities – and thus also to the district of Dachau. The district office and district administrator Stefan Löwl knew that. But not much has happened since then. The district could not only have used the past few months but the entire year better to make provisions. Instead, the situation is strongly reminiscent of 2015. A long-term plan for the accommodation and integration of refugees is still missing. Not only in Dachau.
