The deadline for requesting the refund extended until April 20

A breath of fresh air for latecomers. This Thursday, our colleagues from Parisian and AFP announce that the Internet portal on which to file his claim for compensation of 37.60 euros, the equivalent of half a month at the normal price of the Navigo pass, will be extended until Thursday April 20 inclusive.

Initially open until Friday April 14, Île-de-France Mobilités, the region’s transport regulatory authority, has decided to extend the application period which began on March 14.

Users of RER B and D affected, also concerned

This compensatory refund had been decided by the president of the region, Valérie Pécresse, also president of IDF Mobilités to compensate for the degradation of service suffered by Ile-de-France residents during the fall of 2022 with in particular many delays due to metros, RATP buses and suburban trains removed, causing long waiting times.

Users of certain particularly affected branches of RER B and D are also affected by this refund offer and its extension. Reimbursement of one month’s subscription depending on the package taken out, for those who work or live on the Aulnay-sous-Bois – Aéroport Charles-de-Gaulle 2 TGV, Aulnay-sous-Bois – Mitry-Claye, Parc de Sceaux – Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, Bourg-la-Reine – Robinson and Goussainville – Survilliers-Fosses. All you have to do is present a certificate of residence or employer proving the regular use of these axes and having purchased monthly tickets for periods when the quality of service was less than 80%. In total, the allowances can go up to 112.80 euros if they are combined.

To date, nearly 1.4 million monthly and annual subscribers, out of the 3.4 million eligible, have already requested and obtained a refund.
