• According to Mr. Netanyahu, the Israeli army is advancing ” methodically “ in the Gaza Strip. “The IDF has expanded its land entry into the Gaza Strip, it is doing so in measured and very powerful stages, progressing methodically”he said at the opening of his cabinet meeting.
• In the Gaza Strip, people “Displaced people face increasingly desperate conditions”reports the UN. Its ability to provide life-saving assistance was “further hampered by the thirty-six hour communications disruption that affected the entire Gaza Strip, including humanitarian organizations, from October 27 to the early hours of October 29”she explains in a press release.
• The current system of aid to the Gaza Strip via the Rafah border crossing is ” doomed to fail “the head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees warned on Monday (UNRWA), denouncing the “collective punishment” imposed by Israel.
