The Corsican National Liberation Front threatens to resume the fight

The FLNC (National Liberation Front of Corsica) threatened Wednesday to resume the fight. In a statement to Corse-Morningthe clandestine independence movement denounces the “contemptuous denial” of the State in the face of the aspirations of the Corsican people and explains that “in our country, revolt provokes insurrection”.

“If the French State remained deaf, then (…) quickly the street fights of today will be those of the maquis of the night of tomorrow”, warns the press release from the FLNC which had officially laid down its arms in 2014, at the end of four decades of armed struggle marked by more than 4,500 claimed attacks.
