Simon Rattle, chief conductor of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, will soon be traveling to Prague more often. From 2024/25, it was recently announced that he will also be principal guest conductor at the Czech Philharmonic, whose music director remains Semyon Bychkov – an unusual move for the head of an orchestra of the BR Symphony’s rank.
