A warrant issued Thursday estimated that “there may be evidence on the phone” relating to this case, such as messages or emails sent or received by Alec Baldwin regarding the production of Rust. According to the warrant, Alec Baldwin had notably exchanged emails with the gunsmith of the shoot regarding the type of gun to be used on the fatal scene. The gunsmith had presented him with different models but Alec Baldwin “said he asked for a bigger gun.”
