A 61-year-old garbage collector, an agent for the city of Saint-Denis (93) has died, according to a statement from the town hall published on Friday. Reversed on November 1, he had been in a coma ever since.
“It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Mr. Coulibaly, collection agent for the Suez company who worked for Plaine Commune, following the road violence he suffered on November 1st. last. Our thoughts are addressed above all to his wife, his children and his brother, also a collection agent and present by his side during these tragic moments ”, declares the town hall in its press release.
The driver and his passengers indicted
The accident had taken place at Avenue du President Wilson in Saint-Denis while the agent was getting back to his truck after replacing a trash can on the sidewalk. The car in question wanted to pass the dump truck, hitting the garbage collector and throwing him into the dumpster.
The driver of the vehicle was indicted on November 28 for “unintentional injuries with ITT greater than three months, with two aggravating circumstances”, and his two passengers for “non-assistance to a person in danger”.
