The club scene’s silence on terror: “DJs for Palestine”? Normal – culture

The massacre at the Supernova Sukkot Gathering Festival in Kibbutz Re’im, in which Hamas terrorists killed at least 260 people and probably kidnapped more than 100, was a good two weeks ago, but so far, with a few exceptions, there have been hardly any major Berliners Clubs expressed. The rest of the scene is also noticeably quiet. Actually atypical. Many DJs showed solidarity during the attacks on clubs in Tbilisi, for example. Where does the silence come from? Jakob Baier conducts research at Bielefeld University, among other things, on the subject of anti-Semitism in subcultural milieus.
