From Monday, May 12, vaccination will be open to all without “no age limit” when there are doses available 24 hours before, Emmanuel Macron announced this Thursday. A way for the government to avoid wasting doses of vaccines as much as possible. In order to promote the implementation of this new rule, Guillaume Rozier, announced on
BFMTV Friday, the launch of ChronoDose.
The engineer is already the creator of the Covid Tracker applications and of QuickMyDose which allows over 50s to see all vaccination appointments that have remained free. ChronoDose is a new feature of ViteMaDose. “From Wednesday, all people over 18 will be able to go to ViteMaDose for an appointment the same day or the next day,” assured Guillaume Rozier on the continuous news channel.
“5,000 vaccination slots” not filled
“We will have the precise number of the number of vaccination slots. Because the vaccination centers sometimes miss several doses per time slot ”, specifies the engineer who uses official data to follow the evolution of the epidemic.
Guillaume Rozier estimates that there are “around 5,000 vaccination slots that are not provided for today and tomorrow. We can imagine that next week it will be the same ”.
