This arrest “follows information obtained by investigators from the Amiens police station in the middle of the morning as part of the continuation of their investigations”. An investigation had been opened by this police station for “subtraction of a minor by ascendant” following the disappearance Thursday of this child in the company of his father.

“The respondent did not have a right of accommodation on his son”, and was “unfavorably known to justice”, had indicated the prosecutor. He has been “convicted several times for various crimes” and has already been imprisoned, in particular for acts of domestic violence.
