The CGT and FO renew the strike at Esso-ExxonMobil and TotalEnergies

The CGT and FO renewed on Tuesday the strike which affects the two French refineries of the Esso-ExxonMobil group, despite the signing of a majority agreement on wages by other unions, which they for their part rejected, indicated Tuesday the CGT.

“The movement was renewed this morning at 6 a.m., because it does not correspond to the demands of the striking employees who are asking for purchasing power”, indicated Christophe Aubert, central CGT union representative, according to whom the improvement of the proposal formulated by the management essentially consists of a bonus. Despite pressure from the government, the CGT indicated that the strike was also renewed at TotalEnergies.
