“The CDU must be more social,” demands the employee wing – politics

The workers’ wing criticizes that the party leadership neglects social issues – that’s also a shame in the dispute with the AfD. But now Friedrich Merz is making Carsten Linnemann Secretary General.

Sometimes Dennis Radtke can’t help it. Then he just has to get rid of his displeasure. Radtke is not only a CDU MEP, but also deputy chairman of the employee wing of his party. And as such, it really isn’t easy for him. In an interview with the editorial network Germany, Saxony’s Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer has just demanded that all employees work an hour longer every week. Then Radtke burst his collar again: “One hour less interviews per week might not be bad,” he scolded. “In view of the 1.3 billion overtime hours last year, 700 million of which were unpaid,” the advice from his fellow party member Kretschmer was “very odd.”
