For 15 years now, the dance educator and choreographer Alan Brooks has been working on behalf of the Bavarian Ministry of Culture with his school dance projects, preferably at middle and special schools, in accordance with his credo: Give me the schools that no one else wants to go to. Why? “Their students often come from families who might not have had any contact with dance, movement and music without my project,” he explains during a walk in the Maximiliansanlagen.
