The body of a man was found floating on the Rhône, near Vallabrègues, a town in Gard. It could be the truck driver whose truck had fallen from a bridge in Aramon, mid-February, ten kilometers away. The victim had not been found, despite searches by divers.
The body, which has been in the water for a long time, is unrecognizable. The gendarmes sent the photograph of his clothes to the relatives of the driver, in order to help identify him. An autopsy will be performed on Tuesday at the forensic institute to ascertain his identity.
