The information was made official this Thursday early evening. The body discovered on October 12 in a barn in Corcelles-en-Beaujolais, a town located in the Rhône, is indeed that of Marwan Berreni.

Death by hanging
“The first medico-legal findings made proved to be compatible with death by hanging,” she adds, specifying that the investigations will continue “as part of the procedure to find the causes of death”.
The actor, aged 34, had not given any sign of life since August 3, after a road accident in which he could be involved while leaving a nightclub. That evening, a woman was hit by a 4X4 vehicle later identified as that of Marwan Berreni. The car was discovered two days later in the village of Fleurie, five kilometers from where the actor’s body was found, as well as his identity papers.
