Thanks to the defeats of Finland against Belgium and Russia against Denmark in group B, this Monday evening, the France team is already qualified for the knockout stages of Euro 2021. With four points, it is indeed guaranteed to finish at worst among the best third group, even before its last match against Portugal on Wednesday.
But the Blues will not be satisfied with it, of course. Because if they finished in this place, they would face Belgium or the Netherlands in this first knockout round. France is not the only one to have learned the good news from its sofa on Monday evening. With Switzerland, already third in their group, Sweden, England and the Czech Republic are also qualified.
