The Blues impose M6 ahead of TF1 and the 20 years of the “Star Academy”

France’s overwhelming victory over Kazakhstan (8-0), and thus its qualification for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, allowed M6 to win at the top of the hearings on Saturday night. Nearly 6 million footballers were in front of their small screens, for a market share of 28.4%. The last qualifying match of the French team, against Bosnia-Herzegovina and already on M6, had gathered 5.92 million viewers.

Nostalgia has its limits

France 3 follows with a rerun of the TV movie Murders at Brides-les-Bains, and 3.64 million regulars for an audience share of 17.5%. If nostalgia is good, it was not enough to boost the audiences of the last meeting dedicated to the 20 years of Star Academy on TF1. You were thus “only” 2.84 million (13.4% of PDA) to relive the best moments of the Star Ac ‘ season 4, with, of course, a tribute to Gregory Lemarchal. This series of anniversary shows had started off well with more than 4 million fans at the premiere.

Laurent Ruquier had gathered his Big heads on France 2 on the occasion of World Television Day, for a more than mixed result and only 1.74 million viewers, for an audience share of 9.3%.
