Florian Silbereisen brought the 80s to life at the “Schlagerstrandparty”. He even found room for a flirt with Beatrice Egli.

“We’re celebrating the 80s”: Under this motto, “The big one” took place on Saturday evening Schlagerstrandparty 2023″ with moderator and entertainer Florian Silbereisen (42) in the first place. And the vast majority of fans of the legendary decade were not disappointed: numerous icons from back then romped around on the stage of the amphitheater in Gelsenkirchen and made sure – despite bad weather at times – for good mood Stars like Marianne Rosenberg (68), Paul Young (67), Samantha Fox (57), Joachim Witt (74), Thomas Anders (60), Howard Carpendale (77), Roland Kaiser (71) or Nicole (58 ) radiated a lot of nostalgia during their performances.

But fans of more modern music also got their money’s worth at this year’s hit beach party. Younger artists such as Joelina Drews (27), Ross Antony (49) or the Voxxclub were invited as guests, who actually don’t really have much to do with the 80s. That’s why there was some criticism of this “mess” of the artists online: “I don’t understand the concept,” wrote a viewer via Facebook, for example. Another criticized not only the young performers, but also the wrong choice of songs. When the Jürgen Marcus song “A new love is like a new life” from 1973 was performed, a viewer asked the understandable question: “What does this year have in common with the 80s?”

Stage flirt between Florian Silbereisen and Beatrice Egli

By the way, Florian Silbereisen and pop singer Beatrice Egli (35) reacted with a wink to rumors about an alleged love relationship between the two. When both entered the stage in a white and light blue wardrobe, Silbereisen said: “It hasn’t been agreed, but that gives me something to think about.” Also when asked for whom Egli sings her song “Don’t fall in love without me”, the singer gave a mischievous smile and a little ambiguous to understand: “Only we know that!”

For Florian Silbereisen, the big Saturday evening shows go on almost in quick succession. The new edition of “Schlagerboom” will be broadcast in autumn. On October 23, the entertainer greets from the Dortmund Westfalenhallen. It is not yet clear which guests he will present on stage.
