Kai Schumann (46) won “The Big Celebrity Baking”. The Sat.1 show last Wednesday evening (February 15) aired the finale. In the end, the actor was able to prevail against his male competitors Jochen Schropp (44) and Philip Boy (35) with his vegan cakes and collect the golden cupcake and prize money of 10,000 euros for a good cause.
Schumann celebrates his triumph on Instagram. “Waaaaaaas??? Won??? I’m freaking out! Vegan cakes won ‘The Big Celebrity Cheek'”, he writes in a post.
Kai Schumann relied on vegan recipes
It was the first time in the history of the show that one of the prominent candidates baked exclusively vegan. In an interview with spot on news, Schumann revealed that being vegan was “not a loss” but “a gain”.
