There is currently a phase of last chances in the Munich show business. After a month-long guest appearance and an incredible 80,000 visitors, the… Cirque du Soleil his blue-yellow tent on the Theresienwiese – you can still marvel at the acrobatic masterpiece “Kurios” with its steampunk look until February 25th.

The revue “Wilderness – Meeting in the Forest” is also extremely strange GOP Theater: Until March 10th you can watch extremely agile Finns taking a sauna on stage and the Viking-like Frenchman Jacques Schneider doing artistic cycling – on a trampoline! After that, however, it’s not over in the GOP; things continue quickly with the new program “Big Love”. This will be a show for Chris Kolonko: “glittering showgirl”, “atmosphere cannon”, “quick-change artist”. The revue jack-of-all-trades brings many artists and the soul singer Bridget Fogle with him (from March 15th).
However, the Kristelli, the magic palace that Alexander Krist built in the former Das Schloss theater tent, is probably over. This is certainly not due to his show talent, the illusionist (the man with the helicopter on the posters) only won the Merlin Award in Las Vegas in 2023. But due to unavoidable construction projects and a lack of a replacement location, the tent has to go Kristelli you can still be enchanted until the end of March.

“This is The Greatest Show” at the Deutsches Theater is a one-time or two-time opportunity. The not exactly modest title promises a lot, but everything is packed in here: namely the world of artists from the circus film “The Greatest Showman” including all the hit songs from it. In the three-hour “spectacle of superlatives”, musical veterans such as Patrick Stanke, Maricel and Jan Ammer also sing the “greatest musical stage successes of the last four decades” from “Cats” to “Dirty Dancing”, from “Hamilton” to “Disney’s Hercules”, from Purse “Abenteuerland” to “Ku’damm 56/59”. Only on Monday and Tuesday, February 19th and 20th.

Schwanthalerstrasse 13 is already a top address for shows in the Las Vegas format: Due to its great success, “China Girl” will soon be returning to the Deutsches Theater for an evening. The “Acrobatical” is not only another demonstration of perfectionist body control by the Chinese National Circus, but also tells a Romeo and Juliet story in New York and gets a very special touch thanks to the music of David Bowie (only on March 11th ).
There’s also a lot on offer for Disney fans in March – and twice as well chilled. Because first there is the “Frozen Queen”, and that on ice. On Sunday, March 3rd, at 3 p.m., ice skaters will be circling around the Small Olympic Hall to pop songs from the animated films – and where would that be better than this winter fairy tale? Olaf the snowman also makes his clumsy appearance on “Disney on Ice”. But here it goes back and forth through the entire 100-year history of the entertainment group, and so Olaf shares the ice rink in the large Olympic hall with Mickie and Minnie Mouse, with Moana, Buzz Lightyear, Nemo and Dory, Donald and Goofy and many other children’s film favorites. To be there, you have not just one chance, but six opportunities from March 15th to 17th.
