“The Bachelorette” episode 5: Kama Sutra, short skirts and the first kiss

It’s getting hot on the Bachelorette: In episode 5 of the RTL show, Jennifer Saro gets in touch with one or the other candidate. Even the first kiss falls – but this time not just on the cheek.

There were only eleven left: In the fifth episode of The Bachelorette, after the kiss faux pas in the previous show, Jenny wants – the star reported – with some of the candidates actually taking the next step and “reducing the distance”. Fynn is the first to look forward to a single date. Since the 25-year-old has been one of The Bachelorette’s favorites from the get-go, it’s no surprise she picked him for a very special date.

“The Bachelorette”: Jenny gets in touch

With acroyoga, a special form of partner yoga, the two should get closer. Even if Jenny feels a little reminded of the Kama Sutra, a form of Indian sex teaching that goes hand in hand with unusual sex positions, she cuts a good figure together with Fynn.

Back in the men’s villa, Fynn is celebrated and greeted with loud shouts. He proudly reveals to the boys: “The vibe is pretty good. It crackled.” But he quickly comes back to earth when he learns that Jesaia is on her way to her next single date. And the group knows: That the coach is out Stuttgart getting the first real kiss is not that unlikely. The circumstances of the date night couldn’t be more promising either: Jenny invites Jesaia to the spa evening – including a massage, peeling and a romantic bathtub. And as if it shouldn’t have been any different, the long-awaited kiss comes between the two.

But after just a few seconds, the magical moment is over. “Your lips feel good,” grins Isaiah. For him, the ice is now broken, “it came from the heart,” he says to Jenny. On the other hand, the disappointment is written all over his face. She doesn’t feel what she should feel, she explains afterwards in an interview. “Maybe it’ll be better if we’re more familiar.”

Distracting excerpts and honest words

In the villa, the kiss news brings Jesaia one or the other jealous look, but nobody is really surprised. Only Adrian rages. Because in addition to the fact that Jesaia was able to enjoy the first kiss, Oguzhan of all people is invited to the third single date of the day. “I think she wants to get one over on me, because that’s not harmony. It’s more of a fight than a cooperation,” says the 27-year-old. It’s too much for his heart.

Jenny also wants to get in touch with Oguzhan on a romantic cooking date. “With Oguzhan, I still don’t know – am I interested or am I not interested,” says Jenny. “If this time it’s going to be up and down again … difficult.” But it doesn’t really want to work. Oguzhan is distracted by Jenny’s demeanor from the start and can hardly take his eyes off her cleavage. “Jenny freaked me out a bit with her cleavage,” he explains. “The view was great,” he laughs.

“That was the biggest pussy action”

At dinner he asks Jenny about her choice of clothes again. He is actually a “relaxed guy”, but if she wants to dress like that, he would say: “The neckline is a bit great, but if you think so.” Just the relaxed type. The bachelorette doesn’t like Oguzhan’s saying at all. “My neckline is my business,” she replies. “Maybe I’ll put on a lower neckline then.”

The topic of the neckline is still a topic of conversation in the men’s villa the next day. Because a woman’s choice of clothes in the 21st century also seems to play a role for the others. Kaan asks: “Did she provoke you?”, whereupon Oguzhan explains: “She really wanted to have a discussion with me. Of course you can always dress sexy – but there’s sexy-classic and sexy-cheap”. There is no question that men have the right to form an opinion about this.

In addition, the kissing faux pas of the previous week is also being discussed tensely again. Adrian knows: “That was the biggest pussy action”. A little joy is needed. And that comes – thank heaven – in the form of a group date at the amusement park. Jenny booked it to come along alone Kaan, André, Alex, David, Markus and Adrian enjoying the time. But right at the beginning Kaan has to point out to the bachelorette that her skirt is short. He asks, “Do you often dress so revealingly?”

Clarifying words with Adrian

Jenny, visibly annoyed, emphasizes: “My skirts are as short as I want, and my neckline is as low as I want. I never want to hear anything about it again.” That would also be clarified. The bachelorette then has a serious word to clarify with Adrian. Because the kiss action still doesn’t seem to want to get out of her head. Adrian knows: “There is no way out, I have to talk about this uncomfortable topic now.” And he explains his behavior with a joke that the men would not have understood. Jenny accepts that – and gives him the fourth single date of the episode.

There is a lot of crackling between the two, “I have this stupid girlish giggle with Adrian,” says Jenny. But the kiss doesn’t happen, Adrian doesn’t dare, but emphasizes: “Next time we’ll do that.” The missing kiss is also a topic of conversation on the night of the roses. When Adrian asks for a kiss – he had previously borrowed a peppermint from Kaan and announced: “If nobody watches us at the night of the roses, the thing will be bagged” – Jenny refuses. She wanted Adrian to kiss her on a one-on-one date. Adrian is desperate. He says, “I need a woman to take my hand. Can you do that? On principle, I’d like to cry and go home.” Afterwards, the 27-year-old is ashamed of his behavior, saying: “She deserves everything but me”, buddy Kaan gives him comfort.

However, despite his emotional words, Adrian ends up receiving a rose, as does Oguzhan. Alex, Jesper and Kaan have to leave the show that night.

“The Bachelorette” runs every Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. on RTL and at any time on RTL + in the stream. Editor’s note: The star is part of RTL Germany.
