The Bachelor 2024: Dennis, Sebastian and the women have to go to the healer

“The Bachelors” have to go to the healer – and a detail reveals why Eva won’t get the final rose

It was about time: Bachelors Dennis and Sebastian went to the faith healer with their wives. Then Sebastian’s mother comes through the door.

At Mental Health Day is the order of the day for the “Bachelors”. Dennis and Sebastian drag the candidates to a healer. Or rather, a man in a leopard look who, instead of looking like a traditional African healer, looks more as if RTL had picked him up at the Cologne Carnival and flown him to Cape Town. He has a leopard ribbon knotted around his head and a chain of teeth hangs around his neck. It looks more like costumes.de than a hunted animal. Appropriately, the man talks and drums as if he had been living mainly on Kölsch for the past few days.

But as is well known, first impressions are often deceptive: it cannot be ruled out that he is actually a person with spiritual abilities who can heal the bachelors and their wives. After all, someone has to do it. RTL probably didn’t know what to do and, in desperation, sent smoke signals to the healer.

Sometimes the only thing that helps is praying or playing drums and flutes. So the healer drums and whistles and pours out a bag full of stones and bones in front of the women. From this he magically reads a lot about the candidates. It is now clear: This can only mean one thing – a good briefing from the editorial team. It works. One woman after another begins to cry. Eva because she is again being forced to talk about her deceased mother. Nadia, because the healer looks into her past and realizes that she chose the wrong man back then. Hopefully no one bribed the healer.

After everyone has healed, they are psychologically prepared for the next shock. On a group date with Sebastian, his mother and brother come through the door. Dennis proves his North German qualities. Rarely has a family member been greeted so emotionlessly. He puts on the same expression he does when faced with healing flute skills. His mother immediately takes on candidate Larissa. She has discovered something on Larissa’s thigh that she doesn’t like: “You have a tattoo?” she asks, as if she were internally praying that the XXL-sized modern art on Larissa’s thigh might just have come from a chewing gum machine. “Yes, I was a bit desperate at the time,” replies Larissa. “So you don’t have one?” She would never do it, says Sebastian’s mother. When Larissa mentions a little later that she is 30, her mother says with her refreshing honesty: “But already so old!” Apparently she was hoping for a woman in her 20s or younger for her 35-year-old son.

Shock for Bachelor Dennis: Trampoline Rebecca is not in love

With Bachelor Dennis, the family interrogations go more smoothly. His brother and cousin surprise him and the women and find that they all make “a good sight.” It almost seems as if they would prefer to date the candidates themselves. Lissy, however, is too similar to Dennis’ ex-girlfriend: not a good sign. Dennis, who has not yet been noticed as a stand-up comedian, regrets that his ex didn’t always understand his sense of humor.

The next shock follows for him on a one-on-one date with Trampolin-Rebecca. Trampoline-Rebecca has not yet fallen in love with Dennis despite smooching in front of the camera, despite individual dates on the sofa, despite jumping on the trampoline together. He’s obviously already falling for her, as his facial expression reveals. Or, as he puts it: “Rebecca has incredible femininity.”

Meanwhile, candidate Eva is allowed to make, or rather mix, wine with Sebastian, pines for him in love and asks him for a kiss. At least now it’s clear: she won’t get the last rose. Asking a bachelor for a kiss is like forcing a pig to eat. Something’s not right there. It’s still enough for dream dates.

The bachelors, on the other hand, do not give Freya and Nadia a rose; they are allowed to fly home. Maybe Sebastian listened to his brother’s advice: “Freya is really good, really tough. Maybe that’s a bit too much for you.”
