The man who was arrested Sunday in Villepinte after grabbing Eric Zemmour by the neck, is, according to RTL information, inserted in Les Républicains since the beginning of November 2021. Valentin MB, aged 27, is also entrepreneur in tourism and lives in Garenne-Colombes in Haut-de-Seine.
On his Twitter profile, he claims to have voted for Eric Ciotti in the second round of LR congress. LR party headquarters confirmed to RTL thata member took his party card under this name a month ago.
He was taken into custody for premeditated violence Sunday late afternoon after slicing through the crowd to catch Eric Zemmour by the neck. The man was mastered by the candidate’s security service. His custody should end in the afternoon and the legal consequences concerning him will then be communicated.
For the time being, no information has filtered out concerning the reasons for which he tried to attack Eric Zemmour.
