The anti-terrorism prosecution (Pnat) requested this Wednesday the referral to the special assizes of Mohamed Lamine Aberouz for “complicity” in the assassination of the police officer Jean-Baptiste Salvaing and his companion Jessica Schneider in Magnanville (Yvelines) on June 13, 2016, AFP learned from a source close to the case.
He however requested a dismissal for two other men suspected of having provided logistical support, according to information from this source, confirmed by the Pnat. The assassin, Larossi Abballa, claimed responsibility for the attack on behalf of the Islamic State (IS) group, before being shot dead by police.
