The ANSM takes legal action over a contested IHU Covid trial under Didier Raoult

The National Medicines Agency (ANSM) announced Thursday that it has taken legal action again on malfunctions of the Marseille IHU during the Raoult era, this time on an unauthorized clinical trial on patients with Covid-19.

“The ANSM has taken legal action again”, announced a spokesperson to AFP, after analyzing a study on more than 30,000 Covid patients published, among others, by Didier Raoult. This study “can be qualified as RIPH (research involving the human person, editor’s note) of category 1” and should therefore “have received a favorable opinion from a committee for the protection of persons and authorization from the ANSM” .
