SCHiM was intended as a simple test project at the indie game studio “Extra Nice”, but it has received huge attention and a publisher.
A game, which was actually intended as a test project, is now being fully developed and released for all platforms. A release date and a price are not yet known.
In SCHiM you jump or live in the shadows. A SCHiM is the soul and spirit of an object, thing or living being. Everything in the world has one and they should never be separated from it. This only happened to the SCHiM you played. You have lost the person you were accompanying and now it is your job to find them again before it is too late. You’ll traverse the shadows of huge levels with an abstract graphic art style, limited to four colors per level. Each level has its own theme, special objects and its own story behind it, which always invites you to learn more about it.
What started back in February 2020 in the indie game studio “Extra Nice” as a test project by developer Ewoud van der Werf has now developed into a full-fledged indie game, which is now available for Xbox One X/S, PlayStation 4/5, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac and Linux will appear.
