The French athletics team will not finish the World Championships in Budapest fanny. The men’s 4x400m relay set its new French record in 2’58″45 to win the first medal of these Hungarian Worlds. Ludvy Vaillant, Gilles Biron, David Sombe and Téo Andant finished in second place, behind the United States (2’57″31) but ahead of Great Britain (2’58″71).
