They were partly answered: the gauge will be increased from 5,000 to 14,000 spectators at the Stade de France for the Top 14 final, opposing the Stade Toulousain to La Rochelle on Friday evening. The announcement was made on Tuesday by Matignon, while the Lyon enclosure can accommodate more than 81,000 people.

“Beyond compliance with the already applicable distancing rules and the implementation of the health pass, the public will be divided into three sealed areas, and over all the open stands of the stadium, in order to allow the greatest possible distance. between the spectators ”, specified the services of Prime Minister Jean Castex.

This will be the second final of the season between the two teams, after Toulouse’s victory in the Champions Cup (22-17), on May 22 at Twickenham in front of 10,000 spectators.
