She is an actress, director, in demand audiobook– and voice actress – and the first photos of Katharina Thalbach as Miss Merkel have just gone through the press. In the RTL film adaptation of David Safier’s novel, she plays the retired chancellor, who is now working as a hobby detective in the Uckermark.
