TF1 deprograms its game with zombies due to lack of audience

The end-of-year celebrations will do without District Z. As announced by a
programming release of the chain this Thursday, spotted by
Puremedia, TF1 deprograms its zombie game presented by Denis Brogniart. Since the launch of season 2 in early December, audiences for the new formula have not really been there. The first episode had gathered 2 million people on average (10.4% audience share), the second 1.6 million (7.8% audience share).

A blooper presented by Karine Ferri and Christophe Beaugrand will replace District Z on Saturday 25 December, then the following week TF1 will broadcast Charlie and the chocolate factory by Tim Burton. What about the three remaining episodes? They should be rescheduled, but no date has been communicated yet.

“A hell of a hangover”

Last Sunday on Instagram, Arthur, the entertainment producer, had expressed his disappointment in a post. “On this Sunday, I am thinking of the 300 people who have been working hard, happily and enthusiastically on this adventure for 3 years. And who opened their eyes with a hell of a hangover, ”he wrote, thanking his teams. “Remember in our moments of doubt I often said to you:” Failure is success in progress, people who avoid failure also avoid success … “The most beautiful victory is not to never fail. But to get up after each failure, ”he added.
