As reported by Paolo Ardoino CTO Tether, the launch of the new stablecoin is in line with the UK’s plans to become a global crypto hub and the widespread adoption of blockchain both in the financial markets and in British life.
“We believe the UK is the next frontier for blockchain innovation. and the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies for the financial markets,” Paolo Ardoino said in a statement. “We hope to help global cryptocurrency users gain access to the GBP stablecoin issued by the largest stablecoin issuers.”
