Fatal accident: Tesla avoids autopilot process through comparison

In March 2018, a man near Silicon Valley crashed into a concrete bollard in a Tesla on “Autopilot” and died. Tesla denied all responsibility, but is now also avoiding a process.

Tesla won earlier proceedings

In two previous cases regarding the “Autopilot” system in the USA, Tesla had prevailed with its arguments. However, the current case was particularly deeply investigated and also resulted in an investigation by the NTSB.
