The Sunni separatist group Jaish al-Adl is said to have carried out the crime. Members of the group are still being sought.

Attackers have an attack on a Eleven police officers killed at police headquarters in the southern Iranian city of Rask. Seven others were injured in the nighttime attack, reported the Tasnim news agency, which is considered the mouthpiece of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. Several attackers were also killed.

According to the report, the crime took place in the province of Sistan and Balochistan. The Sunni separatist group Jaish al-Adl claimed responsibility for the attack, as Tasnim further reported. The situation at the site of the attack is under control again. According to the state news agency Irna, the region near the Pakistani border was searched by helicopter to locate members of the group.
