Tennis star Carlos Alcaraz fails in the quarterfinals in Miami. In the round of the best four, Olympic champion Alexander Zverev will meet Grigor Dimitrow.

After a convincing 6:2, 6:4 in 1:33 hours, Dimitrow moved into the semi-finals and will meet the German Olympic champion Alexander Zverev, who had previously beaten Fabian Marozsan from Hungary.

Dimitrow took the first serve game from Alcaraz and won the first and second sets with a break, thus winning the match. The unseeded Collins easily defeated Yekaterina Alexandrova from Russia 6:3, 6:2. Rybakina, seeded fourth, had more trouble against Viktoria Asarenka from Belarus and won 6:4, 0:6, 7:6.
