For occasional surfers who want a little more, the mobile phone provider Klarmobil is currently offering a crash tariff that is quite impressive. For around six euros a month you get ten gigabytes of data volume included. The so-called minute tariff also includes 100 free minutes, from then on users have to pay.
Cheap minute tariff on the Vodafone network
With its crash tariffs, Klarmobil has found a niche in the tariff world, which primarily appeals to occasional surfers with cheap options. With the minute tariff, the current crash deal offers ten gigabytes of LTE data volume in the Vodafone network with speeds of up to 50 MBit/s. For normal surfers, this is enough to use their own social media channels, listen to music or stream videos. Users should pay attention to this
Klarmobil’s Crash offer binds its users to the tariff for 24 months. During this time there is a fee of 5.99 euros per month. Customers should cancel three months before the end of the minimum contract term. If the termination is not made, the contract will continue indefinitely and the basic fee will increase to 14.99 euros from the 25th month. Anyone interested should be careful here. There is also a connection fee that should be taken into account. From 100 free minutes or 100 free SMS, calls and messages also become subject to a charge within the country. If you don’t surf and make phone calls quite as much, you can still get a cheap basic tariff that is completely sufficient for most needs. However, users have to do without the current 5G standard. LTE shouldn’t be a problem under normal use.
Blue’s alternative: less data volume, more communication
The Allnet-Flat XS from Blau is also available for the same price, a monthly basic fee of 5.99 euros. There is only seven gigabytes of data volume included here, but an unlimited telephony and SMS flat rate is included. There is also no connection fee here. Customers can surf the fast 5G network with speeds of up to 50 MBit/s. The contract term is 24 months, but the tariff can also be canceled on a monthly basis – although a connection fee of 29.99 euros will then be charged.

If you’re not a power surfer and spend 24/7 on your cell phone, you’ll probably be able to get by just fine with a data volume of seven to ten gigabytes. The tariffs from Klarmobil and Blau are cheap and offer customers plenty of options for use. Klarmobil offers another three gigabytes more – that sounds tempting, despite the connection fee the contract is still a little cheaper. But if you spend a lot of time on the phone, you’re better off with blue.
