Temporary exhibition in Triftern – Bavaria

For the last time this weekend there is the opportunity to visit the temporary exhibition in the old post office in Triftern (Rottal-Inn district) (Graf-Lenberger-Straße 13). The stately building, which used to serve as an inn with an integrated medical practice, was built in 1795 and still characterizes the market today. The sculptor Bernd Stöcker acquired the building in order to create a haven of culture there. The house, which itself looks like a work of art with its crumbling plaster walls, is already proving to be an ideal setting for exhibitions. The Alte Post is open on Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Photographer and SZ editor Sebastian Beck offers guided tours through the Zeitlang exhibition on Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. The more than 60 photographs and text panels show Bavaria beyond the glossy brochures – with many unknown, enigmatic and sometimes bizarre aspects of the country and its people. Registration is required due to the limited number of participants at [email protected]. The exhibition will end on Sunday.
