Telekom is keeping quiet about the remaining two cameras of the T Phone 2 and the three remaining cameras of the T Phone 2 Pro, so they are probably again practically useless 2 MP sensors. The cheaper device has an 8 MP selfie camera, the Pro version comes with a 16 MP front camera. The 5,000 mAh battery can always be charged via USB-C; wireless charging with up to 15 watts and 25 watt USB-C fast charging are reserved for the T Phone 2 Pro.
Both models support a microSD memory card and a dual SIM, with Telekom combining a SIM card slot with an eSIM. Fast Wi-Fi 6E, an NFC chip, a fingerprint sensor and a 3.5 mm headphone jack are standard features. The smartphones will be delivered with Android 14 and will receive updates up to Android 16.
Prices and availability
The Telekom T Phone 2 starts with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash storage for 199 euros, the T Phone 2 Pro costs 299 euros with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The two mid-range smartphones will come onto the market in both Germany and Austria on May 23rd.
