A young woman was attacked and abused by a man in a park in the town of Tegernsee (Miesbach district). The perpetrator was arrested shortly afterwards and is now in custody.
The adolescent woman was on her way home from work on Monday evening when she was intercepted near the lake by a 39-year-old, police said on Wednesday. The man first attacked her physically and then sexually abused her. The woman was able to break free and flee home, where she alerted the police. She suffered minor injuries.
The officers were able to track down the perpetrator in his apartment and arrested him for the time being. On Tuesday, the public prosecutor’s office filed an application for detention against the 39-year-old, which was approved by the investigating judge at the Munich district court. The man was taken to a correctional facility.
