The howls of werewolves will soon be heard again over Beacon Hills. During San Diego Comic-Con, the Paramount+ streaming platform unveiled the first trailer for the film Teen Wolf, marked by the return of former characters from the series whose broadcast stopped five years ago. Scott, Derek, Lydia, almost all of them will be there (except poor Stiles) and especially… Allison Argent, supposed to be dead at the end of the third season!
According to the official synopsis, all is not well in the fictional American town of Beacon Hills. “A terrifying evil has emerged. Wolves are howling again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes… But only a werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager but still an Alpha, can muster both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight against what could be the most powerful and deadly enemy they have ever faced. That suggests quite a few close-ups of red eyes and sharp teeth.
News from the spin-off
The feature film is not the only novelty that panics fans of the universe of Teen Wolf. A spin-off series titled Wolf Pack will also soon be available on Paramount + (a service normally available from December 2022 in France thanks to a partnership with Canal+) and the cast has a very big name: Sarah Michelle Gellar, star of buffy the vampire slayer.
The actress will slip into the skin of Kristin Ramsey, an expert arson investigator contacted by the authorities to catch a teenager. He is said to be the source of a fire that would have led to the awakening of a supernatural predator terrorizing Los Angeles. For the time being, no information has been communicated on the release dates of the film and the series.
