Tech companies from the USA are the most valuable companies

The world’s most valuable companies by market value continue to come from the United States – with Apple leading the way. As an evaluation has shown, two German companies are among the top 100.

At the top of the 100 most valuable listed companies in the world is Apple with a market capitalization of just over three trillion dollars. The rest of the “top ten” by market value is made up exclusively of US companies – mostly from the tech sector. In order of placement, these are the Google parent company Alphabet, the online retailer Amazon, the chip company Nvidia, the electric car manufacturer Tesla, the holding company of the US billionaire Warren Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway, the Facebook parent company Meta and the credit card company Visa .

LVMH most valuable European company

European companies do not currently make the global top 10. And of the 100 most valuable companies, only 19 are headquartered in Europe – 16 are from Asia. The most valuable European company is currently the French luxury group LVMH in 12th place.

The top 100 is also dominated by US-based companies, accounting for 62 of them. China and Hong Kong follow with ten companies, France with six, Great Britain with five and Switzerland with three groups.
