The German professional cyclist Maximilian Schachmann was quite outraged by the Jumbo-Visma team last week. There had been a violent crash on the stage to Longwy, and Schachmann identified the driving style of Jumbo frontman Primoz Roglic and his adjutant as the trigger. Jumbo should “collect a bit,” said Schachmann of ARD. They would “drive like the broken ones to the last centimetre”, which was “a hazard to all drivers and totally unnecessary”.
