Too many taxpayers wanting to declare their income from day one? This Thursday, April 11, 2024, it is still impossible to access the online tax declaration tab, impot.gouv.fr. A bug has been raging since the beginning of the morning, according to the findings of several journalists fromactu.fr.
First of all, a brief message appeared after trying to access the service: “The service is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please log back in later. »
As of late this morning, the problem has still not been resolved. The declaration tab has even disappeared from the site. By mid-afternoon, this Thursday, he still had not reappeared.
“The site will open during the day”
Contacted by us, the DGFiP (general directorate of public finances) explains that this bug is linked to the launch of the official 2024 tax campaign, which begins this Thursday for nearly 40 million taxpayers. There should be a “lag” before everything returns to normal.
The site will open during the day.
Some new features this year
During a press conference this Thursday, April 11, the Minister of Public Accounts, Thomas Cazenave presented some new features for this new campaign, including the possibility of declaring, for certain taxpayers, directly on the application.
Furthermore, after last year’s fiasco on the declaration of real estate, the government claims to have made its arrangements.
