The police are looking for a wrong-way driver who endangered several road users on the A8 motorway on Friday evening. The stranger turned in his older, silver-colored VW Polo, according to eyewitnesses, shortly after 6 p.m. at the Taufkirchen junction in the wrong direction on the A8. Despite immediate search measures with several strips, he could not be found. The police assume that the driver noticed his mistake in the meantime and left the motorway or turned around.
