SV-DJK Taufkirchen is making a third attempt to celebrate two important anniversaries. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the association and the 25th birthday of the sports and leisure park, a public festival is to take place on July 16th – with activities, music and sports stations to take part in. The SV-DJK had actually wanted to host the celebration last year, but then it had to be canceled twice due to the pandemic. But now the club is confident that it will work out this summer. “After two years of pandemic, the club wants to bring people together with this festival, enable exchange, create good memories and celebrate the club,” says the SV-DJK. With around 3000 members, the sports club is the largest club in Taufkirchen. It was founded in October 2000 through the merger of SV and DJK Taufkirchen; the entry in the register of associations took place in March 2001. The home of the club is the sports and leisure park built in 1995.
