Taufkirchen – car detects pedestrians – district of Munich

An 82-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car in Taufkirchen on Tuesday. The man survived the accident with minor injuries. A 33-year-old man from Taufkirchen had overlooked the pensioner around 9:05 a.m. when he was driving south on Lindenring and wanted to turn left into Eschenstrasse. His car hit the 82-year-old in the right front when he wanted to cross Eschenstrasse. The pedestrian fell on the asphalt and was taken to a clinic, slightly injured, according to police. Criminal proceedings for negligent bodily harm are initiated against the driver.
