Tapping into the Puchheim folk festival – Fürstenfeldbruck

The Puchheim folk festival begins on Friday, June 24, when Mayor Norbert Seidl (SPD) taps the first barrel in the marquee at 6 p.m. A parade is planned for Saturday, with a concert on the station forecourt and Goaßlschnalzer. The Hacker-Pschorr brewery will be donating beer, and in the evening the Bavaria Band will be on stage. At the ten-day folk festival, music for different tastes will be played in the tent, such as brass band music by the Luitpold musicians from Germerswang, and cabaret artist Ralf Winkelmeier will be performing on Monday, June 27th. There is also free beer and chicken for seniors over 68 on Mondays, a children’s afternoon on Wednesdays and the boxing section of FC Puchheim offers demonstration training on Saturday, July 2nd. The beer mug costs 9.80 euros. There are 1500 seats in the tent, the beer garden outside has around 600 seats. There are various booths, scooters and carousels on the square. At the end of the festival there will be fireworks on Sunday, July 3rd. A private security service will also ensure that the no-alcohol zone around the beer tent is observed. This ban mile has been in effect for several years.
