Director Marcus H. Rosenmüller hit a nerve with his trilogy about growing up in the country in 2007. The home cinema of a different kind with short stories about two 17-year-old girls from the Bavarian provinces was a hit with the public on television and in the cinema. Most of the shooting took place in the small village of Tandern in the furthest corner of the Dachau district.
